After studying clinical medicine and working as a clinical hematologist in China, I did my PhD in Biological Sciences at The University of Manchester, UK. I worked as a Research Associate for cancer research in St. Mary’s hospital, the University of Manchester with more than 20 years of experience in cell biology, molecular biology, viral oncology and further developed my interest in biomedical data science, bioinformatics, machine learning application, cancer genomics and evolution. As a member of the Wedge Lab, I am currently working on pancreatic cancer and genomics. I am interested in exploring the associations of genomic alterations and development of pancreatic malignancy. Using my oncology and data science expertise, I intend to translate the cancer genomic information into clinical studies and applications.
