I am working as a Bioinformatician in the [NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre Next Generation Phenotyping and Diagnostic and Next Generation therapeutics teams] (https://www.manchesterbrc.nihr.ac.uk/our-research/next-generation-phenotyping-and-diagnostics/) under David Wedge’s supervision. My current research focuses on the analysis and method development of spatial transcriptomic data to unravel the complicated biological mechanisms. In addition to this, I am involved in integrating multi-omics datasets to provide insights that can inform targeted therapeutic strategies and advance our knowledge of disease pathogenesis.

Prior, I worked as a research associate at [Melanoma Immune Oncology Research Group] (https://miorg.fi/). My research focused on the discovery and development of new predictive prognostic biomarkers in Melanoma cancer using transcriptomic, methylation, and pathway data.

I completed my Ph.D. studies at [Medical Bioinformatic Centre] (https://elolab.utu.fi/), [Turku Bioscience] (https://bioscience.fi/), [University of Turku] (https://www.utu.fi/fi), Finland. My research was funded by the University of Turku Graduate School. The focus of my research was on comparing the strategies and tools for RNA-Seq analysis for differential gene expression and splicing analysis.
